100 days of Germany — an internet documentation
From June to December 2008, I ran an automated script that has been capturing and processing webcam imagery from around 150 webcams in Germany. While sourcing the webcams, the map of Germany has been sliced into sections evenly distributed across the map to create a distributed overall collection of content during the 100 days, plus a few more.
The objective was to record and document the shift of color and density of the landscape and to generate an average german color and collages visualizing the multiplication of images using Processing.
